Did EverFi's financial education courses have a positive impact on your life? Did you learn something from Vault, FutureSmart or EverFi-Financial Literacy that will help you succeed now or in the future? Enter the Student Blog Contest to share your story! Five winning students will receive a $1,000 529 College Savings Scholarship and have their stories featured on the EverFi blog.

Once you have earned your certification in Vault, FutureSmart or EverFi (by completing and passing all lessons), reflect on what you have learned. Then, click the picture of the course you completed and submit your story. Suggested length: 500 words

Vault - Understanding Money FutureSmart EverFi - Financial Literacy

The Student Blog Contest is open to U.S. students who have completed one of EverFi's K12 Financial Education courses (FutureSmart, Vault - Understanding Money, or EverFi - Financial Literacy), and achieved certification during the 2016-2017 academic year. Students who have completed multiple courses this year may submit an entry for each course in which they earned certification. Entries must be received by April 28th, 2017 at 5:00pm EST.

A committee of judges from EverFi will select the final winners by May 8th, 2017. Entries will be judged based on the content of message, the quality of the writing, and originality. Five winners will be selected, and their entries will be featured on the EverFi Blog (Note: Students’ last names and contact information will never be used). Winners will each receive a $1,000 529 College Savings Scholarship.

This promotion is open to all students who have earned certification in FutureSmart, Vault - Understanding Money, or EverFi - Financial Literacy in the 2016-2017 school year. Winners will receive a $1000 529 College Savings gift card. Students are able to use the gift card for any 529 College Savings Plan of their choice. For more information about the gift cards, visit Leaf College Savings. Please note that the gift cards awarded will be in United States dollars, regardless of where the student resides. Winners will be emailed an authorization form that a parent or guardian must complete and return within two weeks in order to receive the gift card. By accepting the 529 College Savings gift card, teachers and students acknowledge that they are complying with their individual district policy on rewards and/or incentives. EverFi shall have the right, title and interest to use, market and otherwise own the content of the submitted blog.
