Montana Bankers Association and its members are committed to supporting a new generation of young people who take control of their finances and their future. A strong financial education empowers each and every one of us to make better decisions. And it may even help us to positively influence friends and family around us.

We want to hear YOUR story and help contribute to your success.

Submit a short blog post (300 words or less) that answers any of the following questions:

  • How has the Montana Bankers Financial Scholars program had a personal impact on your life and the decisions that you will make moving forward? Tell us one way that the program has changed your attitude or behavior.

  • What are your dreams for the future (college, travel, volunteering, pursuing your dream job)? How has the Montana Bankers Financial Scholars program helped prepare you to achieve those goals? Be specific.

  • Tell us about a financial mistake that you, or someone you know, has made. How would you change your actions based on what you now know through the Montana Bankers Financial Scholars program?

The Student Blog Challenge is open to all students who have completed the Montana Bankers Financial Scholars program during the 2014-2015 academic year.

A committee of judges from EverFi and Montana Bankers Association will select the final winners. 3 winners will be chosen on May 11, 2015. Entries will be judged based on the content of message, the quality of the writing, and originality. Winners will each receive a $500 award recommended for educational use.

The Spring 2015 Submission deadline is May 11, 2015.
